Trimper earned a master’s degree in Health Education and Wellness from Suffolk University in Boston, after receiving an undergraduate degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. Along with piling up more than 20 years of experience in health care and higher education, she most recently earned a certificate from Precision Nutrition in 2019.

As a Performance Nutrition Facilitator at Stetson Athletics, Trimper not only coaches student-athletes in wellness and nutrition, she also presents team peak performance workshops to best prepare athletes for competition and life-long health.

She co-developed the Stetson Performance Nutrition Program which was launched in 2019. Additionally, as the insurance coordinator within Sports Medicine, Trimper supports the insurance side of student-athletes who require treatment due to an injury.

In conjunction with Stetson University, Trimper continues to hold a corporate wellness position outside of the university where she writes blogs, coaches clients and works with corporate partners for Spark360, a national population health management corporation.

Wearing many hats within Stetson and outside, Lisa’s favorite hat happens to be a baseball cap. Her husband, Steve, serves as the head baseball coach at Stetson. Steve and Lisa have twin daughters, Megan and Ally, who are sophomores at the University of Maine and compete on the women’s ice hockey team.
